Pack 62 scouts don't just live in Erie — they take care of it. From fall cleanups to food drives to veterans recognition, giving back is part of what it means to be a scout.
Every year, Pack 62 shows up for Erie. These are the service traditions our scouts carry forward — and take pride in.
Every November, Pack 62 scouts and families clean up the grounds at New Hope Fellowship — our charter organization. Raking, weeding, and a whole lot of teamwork.
Pack 62 participates in Veterans Day and Memorial Day recognition events, including flag ceremonies and card-writing drives for local veterans.
Scouts help keep Erie's favorite fishing spot clean — picking up litter around Thomas Reservoir before and after community events.
Pack 62 organizes food collection drives for local Erie food banks. Scouts learn that service is a year-round commitment, not just a one-time event.
Community service isn't just a nice thing to do — it's built into Cub Scout advancement. Many rank requirements include service-based adventures that connect scouts to their community.
Every service project is a chance for scouts to live the Scout Law — not just recite it.
Pack 62 is always looking for parents to help organize and lead service projects. No experience required — just enthusiasm.
