Every season brings something new. Here's a taste of what Pack 62 scouts experience throughout the year across Erie and the Front Range.
🌸 Spring
Every spring at Thomas Reservoir — one of Erie's most beloved community events. Pack 62 scouts cast lines, catch fish, and represent the pack at the water's edge. Free, family-friendly, and a ton of fun.
☀️ Summer
Scouts carry the American flag and pack colors on the track at CNS in Dacono — a roar of engines, a crowd of thousands, and scouts front and center for one of Colorado's most memorable traditions.
☀️ Summer
Our annual family camp weekend deep in Boulder Canyon. Scouts earn their Camping Adventure, cook over fire, hike the canyon, and sleep under Colorado's pines with their families.
🍂 Fall
Pack 62 marches in Erie's annual Homecoming Parade carrying the pack banner and colors through the heart of downtown Erie. One of our most visible community moments of the year.
🍂 Fall
The Adventure West Council's annual multi-pack camping event at Camp Laramie Peak. Scouts from across the region come together for a weekend of competitions, big activities, and scouting camaraderie.
❄️ Winter
Scouting's annual celebration! Pack 62 gathers in February for a pack-wide banquet honoring rank advancements, leadership awards, and another great year of adventure together in Erie, CO.
Community service isn't a box to check — it's a core value we live by. Pack 62 scouts learn early that good citizenship means showing up for your neighbors.
Scouts maintain Erie's own Coal Creek Trail and surrounding open space — learning hands-on environmental stewardship right in their own backyard.
Each year Pack 62 collects food and supplies for Community Food Share and local Erie pantries — scouts canvass neighborhoods and learn what it means to fight food insecurity.
Scouts write personal thank-you letters, participate in flag ceremonies, and attend community events honoring the men and women who served our country right here in Erie.
Trail maintenance, litter cleanup, and Leave No Trace projects at Thomas Reservoir, Erie open space, and along the St. Vrain corridor keep our green spaces healthy for everyone.
